I am tired of the computer evaluating my writing and pronouncing a grade level. How rude. Its judgment based on a Flesch-Kincaid reading scale, whatever that is. The pronouncement pops up after the spell checker is finished like a silent condemnation of my wit.
What kind of technological detritus is this, anyway? I wonder who is more artificially intelligent as I work and rework each sentence in some kind of 21st century competition with myself. Happy MAC has turned into judgmental MAC and that is a bit more than I can take.
