Shattered

33 dead at Virginia Tech. It came across my desk this morning and I am shattered. Half a day later and a continent away, I am shattered because that classroom was not different than mine. Those students were all - our students. Tomorrow there will be more details and it won't matter because there isn't any why. It just is and we are shattered - all of us - even those who don't know it.
