Again and again...

Twenty-two casualties; Six dead. Death on a college campus, again.

I watch... stunned and tear stained faces on TV with Anderson Cooper and the CNN round-the-clock recitation of facts. I hear... empty phrases like "we may never fully understand" and "Our hearts go out...". I choke hard when my own kid calls in tears from her campus. I feel...powerless against this.
